An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 struck Myanmar on Sunday at 08:17 am, according to the National Centre for Seismology. The earthquake, with a depth of 100 km, was located at coordinates 22.16° N latitude and 94.51° E longitude.
Earlier on Saturday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 struck Myanmar. The NCS said that the earthquake occurred at 11:00 AM and at a depth of 37 kilometres.
WHO flew 35 tons of supplies from its Global Logistics Hub in Dubai to Yangon yesterday evening. Earlier, 60 tons of trauma kits, medicines, medical and surgical devices, and multipurpose tents were provided from the emergency stockpiles in Yangon for Mandalay, Naypyitaw, and Sagaing.
