At least 17 people, including three children, were killed and 35 others were injured after the bus fell into the pond in Bangladesh's Chhatrakanda area under Jhalakathi Sadar Upazila on Saturday.
Road Safety Foundation (RSF) released a report on Wednesday stating that 562 people died and 812 sustained injuries in 559 road accidents in June throughout Bangladesh, reported Dhaka Tribune.
According to the report, 516 people have died while 812 sustained serious injuries throughout 559 separate instances of road accidents throughout the nation in June, and that close to 34 per cent of the death toll accounted for motorcycle-related accidents.
