A portion of the road near the Bhoothnath bridge in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district was damaged on Tuesday due to heavy rainfall and the rising water level in the Beas river.
Heavy rains in the State have led to overflowing rivers and locals have alleged that concerned authorities did not construct a culvert or put pripes on the side of the road to drain the water causing the collapse of the Mananthavady-Walayar road that was nearing its completion.

Mussoorie (Uttarakhand) [India], September 3 (ANI): Road clearance operations are underway on the main route from Dehradun to Mussoorie after it suffered damage due to heavy monsoon rains on Thursday. This has stranded vehicles on either side.
