New Zealand pacer Jacob Duffy, who eclipsed the record of legendary player Richard Hadlee for most wickets by a Kiwi bowler in international cricket during a calendar year, has said he is excited for tours to India, England and Australia.
Duffy shattered Hadlee's 40-year record, grabbing his 81st scalp of the year. Duffy has taken 81 wickets in 36 matches at an incredible average of 17.11 this year, while Hadlee took 80 wickets in just 23 games.
With a five-wicket haul against a formidable Indian side in Dubai, Matt Henry surpassed the legendary Richard Hadlee to become New Zealand's eighth-highest wicket-taker in ODIs.
Bumrah was one of the architects behind India's biggest Test win in Australia (by a margin of runs) following their unparalleled 295-run triumph in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series opener in Perth on Monday.
Mitchell, who also won the Redpath Cup for men's first-class batting, was recognised for a stand-out year across the board but particularly at the Test level.
