Nagma Mohamed Mallick, from the IFS batch of 1991, presently Ambassador of India to Japan, has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Marshall Islands, with residence in Tokyo.
India's Minister of State (MoS) for Foreign Affairs and Education, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, led a high-level delegation visit to the Republic of Marshall Islands (RMI) with a strong focus to develop partnerships and mutual cooperation across various key areas.
The Embassy of India in Japan and the Republic of Marshall Islands, as well as, the Embassy of India in Kuwait organised the Yoga Day celebration in light of the 9th International Day of Yoga.
"Shri Sibi George (IFS: 1993) presently Ambassador of India to Japan, has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Marshall Islands, with residence in Tokyo. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly," the statement reads. (ANI)
