Chief Minister Manik Saha said that the state government is providing a monthly allowance of Rs 2,000 to 2,183 HIV/AIDS patients in Tripura while addressing the state-level World AIDS Day observance at Pragya Bhavan on Sunday.
The event was organized by the National AIDS Control Organization, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in collaboration with the Goa State AIDS Control Society.
As per an official statement, the spectators in the gallery included 4,800 students from various schools, Red Ribbon Club members from colleges, people from the community, and participants from the Mission Shakti Department.
