The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday termed former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's arrest as "legal," reported Geo News.
Pakistan, a country often referred to as a "failed state", is now looking at a stark future with financial crisis and political instability after the arrest of ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan today outside the Islamabad High Court.
Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was arrested by Rangers from outside Islamabad High Court on Tuesday, told his supporters in a pre-recorded video that he will be "closed inside in an unlawful case" and that he "may not get chance to address them again".
PTI workers protested in cities across the country, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, and Mardan, reported Geo News.
