Amid pre-poll violence in Bangladesh, Foreign Secretary, Masud Bin Momen on Saturday called for political stability in the country and warned that any de-stability will be disastrous for this huge population.
The pre-poll violence occurred on Friday at around 9:05 PM, killed four people. Officials called the incident a "planned attack." The CID team collected DNA samples from the relatives of the victims to identify the bodies, Bangladesh-based The Dhaka Tribune reported.
"The injured in the Dinhata violence are being shifted to PK Shah Hospital in Coochbehar under the instruction of West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose," said an official.
Clashes were reported between Trinamool Congress (TMC) and National People's Party (NPP) workers at the Charbatapara booth in the Phulbari assembly constituency of West Garo Hills late Tuesday night.
