Two persons were arrested after police acted on information about a gang allegedly involved in obtaining and selling Call Detail Records (CDR) and locations of mobile phone subscribers, Delhi Police officials confirmed on Tuesday.
Officials said that the arrests were made on Tuesday during the simultaneous searches carried out at their flats. During the searches, police seized 20 laptops and Rs 1,40,000 in cash from their possession.
Karnataka Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah said on Friday that four persons have been arrested and around Rs 85 crores and 25 lakhs have been seized and recovered by SIT.
Police have arrested Rajendra Singh Bidawat and the father of the main accused, Rajesh Shah for their alleged involvement in the Worli hit-and-run case that took place on Sunday.
Earlier today, Uttar Pradesh Police conducted a search operation at Ram Kutir Charitable Trust in Mainpuri for 'Bhole Baba', a self-styled godman who conducted a 'satsang' in Hathras where the stampede took place.
