Former Punjab Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Captain Amarinder Singh called on Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal at the latter's residence in Chandigarh on Monday and expressed grief over the demise of patron Parkash Singh Badal.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday attended the 'Antim Ardas' of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal at Punjab's Lambi and said his departure is a big loss for the country.
"Prakash Singh Badal has contributed a lot to the development of the country. The work he has done for brotherhood and development will be remembered for many generations," said the Union Minister.
