Karachi residents endured traffic problems for the seventh consecutive day on Wednesday due to ongoing protests against the recent killings in Parachinar area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Kurram district.
According to reports by Dawn, the protests followed a violent incident in Parachinar where two individuals were killed and decapitated in the Bagan area of Kurram, sparking widespread outrage.
By Thursday, the MWM had extended its protests across much of Karachi, and by 10 pm on Friday, sit-ins were still taking place at several key locations.
Protesters belonging to the Turi Bangash tribe marched on foot to the Parachinar Press Club. The protest comes after eight people, including five teachers, were killed in separate incidents of firing in Parachinar on May 4.
