The MEA on Tuesday called social media claims seeking donations for the Nimisha Priya case into a government account "fake" and warned people not to engage with them, clarifying that no such GoI-designated account exists.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that the government is providing all possible assistance to Priya and her family, working closely with local authorities and friendly governments to resolve the issue.
