The Madhya Pradesh government announced on Monday that it will increase the monthly financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,500.
This month, each Ladli Behna will receive Rs 1,250 as the regular instalment and an additional Rs 250 as Raksha Bandhan Shagun, making a total of Rs 1,500 per beneficiary before the festival.

Along with the cabinet meeting, several other programs, including public gathering will also be organised here. CM Yadav will also transfer the monthly aid to the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojanas on the occasion.
During the meeting, the Council of Ministers approved to hike the rate of dearness allowance (DA) payable to government employees in the seventh pay scale by 4 percent to 42 percent from January 1, 2023. At present the employees are getting 38 percent DA.
