Light to moderate rains and snowfall were recorded at several places across Himachal Pradesh over the past 24 hours. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for thunderstorms, gusty winds, and dense fog at isolated locations, particularly in the low hills and plains.

Mumbai experienced heavy rain on Monday, with several areas recording significant rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast moderate rains to continue over Mumbai and other regions in the coming hours, signaling ongoing monsoon activity across the area.
Earlier, India Meteorological Department (IMD) scientist Ramashray Yadav said that Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar are expected to get light to moderate rains today.
Light to moderate rains are expected to continue across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal area on Friday.
According to the Indian Meteorological department, thunderstorm and lightning at one or two areas of Tamil Nadu is also expected.
The Indian Meteorological Department issued an Orange alert on Monday in Telangana predicting light to moderate rains in most places during the next three days.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday predicted moderate spells of rain to likely occur at isolated places of Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad districts during the next 3-4 hours.
"Moderate rain is very likely over parts of Gharaunda, Karnal, Indri, Radaur, Panipat, Nilokheri, Thanesar, Pehowa, Shahabad, Ambala, Kalka, Barara, Jagadhri, Chhachhrauli, Narayangarh, Panchkula," IMD said in a bulletin.
Heavy rain lashed several parts of the Delhi-National Capital Region on Thursday morning, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting light to moderate rains accompanied by gusty winds over the next few hours.
"Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and light to moderate spells of rain with gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur at isolated places in Pune, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Sangli, Solapur and Ratnagiri during the next 3-4 hours," said IMD Mumbai.
