The Hyderabad police have registered a case against an unknown individual who allegedly made inflammatory remarks during the Milad-Un-Nabi procession on Tuesday, September 16.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the incident occured on Thursday afternoon under the jurisdiction of City Kotwali police station. The slogans were allegedly raised during the procession in the Teen Batti area.
The Chief Superintendent of Police, Abhinav Barange, has confirmed that members of the Hindu community have gathered at the police station to provide statements regarding the incident.
The occasion brought together a diverse group of politicians, diplomats, business leaders, and religious leaders to honour the values of peace, tolerance, and compassion.
In a post on X, President Murmu urged the people to move forward with the spirit of brotherhood, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and working towards the country's development.
