The South Korean health ministry sent prior notices on Monday to suspend the medical licenses of around 5,000 trainee doctors who have defied an order to return to work and have been protesting against the government's proposal to increase medical school admissions, reported Yonhap News Agen
The South Korean government threatened striking young doctors with indictment and suspension of their medical licences, giving them four days to report back to work, Al Jazeera reported.
