Workers and farmers across India participated in a nationwide strike on Thursday, organised by several trade unions and parties to protest central government policies, including labour codes, trade agreements, privatisation, and other measures perceived as anti-worker and anti-farmer.

The Opposition MPs on Thursday held a protest in front of Makar Dwar on Parliament premises, against the Centre over air pollution in Delhi-NCR and parts of North India.
