KTR pointed out that regional parties like the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal have successfully countered the influence of the BJP.
"It was a difficult year for us. This election was contested over farmers' issues, water crises, unemployment and corruption....The voters have rejected income tax, CBI, and ED," Sule said.
