Former Minister Amarmani Tripathi and his wife Madhumani Tripathi, who are serving life imprisonment in the Madhumita Shukla murder case, has received a release order from the District Magistrate office on Friday after completing all the legal formalities.
As the Supreme Court refused to put a stay on the premature release of former Uttar Pradesh minister Amarmani Tripathi and his wife, in poet Madhumita Shukla's murder case, the son of the couple said that this is the moment for which he was waiting for 20 years.
Calling Amarmani a ‘mastermind’ behind the poetess’ murder, Nidhi Shukla alleged that she could get killed in these eight weeks- the next hearing date of the case.
The Supreme Court on Friday refused to put on hold the “premature” release of former Uttar Pradesh minister Amarmani Tripathi and his wife Madhumani, who are serving a life term in poet Madhumita Shukla's murder case.
The release of prisoners are based on prison policies and on the conduct of inmates, said Uttar Pradesh Prisons and Home Guard Minister Dharamveer Prajapati after the Supreme Court issued a notice on plea filed against premature release of poetess Madhumita Shukla murder convicts.
The Supreme Court on Friday began the hearing of the plea filed by Poetess Madhumita Shukla's sister, Nidhi Shukla, against the premature release of the convicts in the former's murder case.
