The three accused--Lovelesh Tiwari, Arun Maurya, and Sunny Singh were produced before Chief Judicial Magistrate Prayagraj pm Monday via video conferencing where their judicial custody was extended.
Three friends of Lovelesh Tiwari, the main accused in the gangsters Atiq-Ashraf murder case, were detained by the Special Investigation Team in Uttar Pradesh's Banda railways station, the police said on Thursday.
"All three shooters, Arun Maurya, Sunny Singh and Lovelesh Tiwari, are under threat of attack behind bars, owing to which they have been shifted to a high-security cell and are kept under CCTV surveillance," official sources said.

The three assailants, who were arrested after shooting dead gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf in Prayagraj, confessed to their crime on Sunday, adding that they did it to "become popular".
A day after gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead in Prayagraj in full media glare, the mother of one of the assailants, Lovelesh Tiwari, on Sunday said her son had a religious side to him.
