The Indian Air Force concluded the rescue operations in Kedarnath Valley on Sunday after evacuating the last survivor from the landslide-hit area of Uttarakhand.
Several people have died in rain-related incidents since August 4 evening as heavy rains lashed different parts of Uttarakhand, while many pilgrims and tourists are trapped on the Sonprayag-Kedarnath road.
The Indian Air Force on Monday airlifted 201 people to safe areas including 17 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel from the Kedarnath Valley.
As per information from officials, 133 people were safely airlifted till 9 am on Monday with the help of the MI 17 and Chinook helicopter and other small helicopters.
According to a statement from SDRF, on Monday night, SDRF was informed by shopkeepers at Chani camp that a devotee near Kedarnath Valley-Lincholi, district Rudraprayag was in very bad health.
