India is set to carry out its first space launch of the year today, as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) prepares to launch the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)-C62 mission, said Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium Director, BR Guruprasad.
Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium Director, Dr. B R Guruprasad, on Sunday, stated that India is going to conduct its first launch of the year in space on Monday with Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)- C62.
Accordingly, the Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with ISRO and Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, will soon organise a student interaction programme with Group Captain Shubhamshu Shukla at the U.R. Rao Hall, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bengaluru, the minister said.
