Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended his wishes on the eve of International Cheetah Day and praised wildlife lovers and conservationists for their significant contribution in protecting Cheetahs.
Officials said the release of the cheetah family is expected to boost ecotourism and enhance public engagement with Project Cheetah, the ongoing initiative to reintroduce the species in India.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed pleasure that the state has been an ideal place in the country for wildlife and extended greetings to everyone on the occasion of International Cheetah Day.
