Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday outlined an expansive vision of India's economic diplomacy, asserting that engagement, trust and negotiating from a position of strength have defined the country's recent trade successes.
According to official updates from the commerce ministry, the country has accelerated discussions on free trade agreements (FTAs) with key partners across multiple regions.
"India-Oman CEPA negotiations have been concluded," Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada informed Rajya Sabha in a written reply while responding to a question from Congress member Hebi Mather Hisham relating to India's trade deals.
