Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal began his visit to Brussels with a meeting with Johann Wadephul, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, to strengthen discussions on the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
A German delegation from Frankfurt, currently visiting Dehradun, underlined the importance of knowledge exchange and skill development as part of the growing India-Germany partnership.
"Tonight we are talking about scientific cooperation, how Germany and India can scientifically cooperate and try to find new ways and means to invest in renewables to find new techniques and new ways of reducing carbon emissions," Ackermann said.
The conference gathered CEOs and senior executives from leading German companies, including Mercedes Benz, SAP, MERCK, Continental, Daimler Truck, FESTO, Siemens Healthineers, Bosch Global Software Technologies, and Infineon.
