Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday held a bilateral meeting with United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in Hiroshima on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Japan.
"My name is Kubota Masayuki. Born in 1942, I was just 3 years old when the atomic bomb struck my home. Now, I am 80 years old", says Masayuki in an interview with ANI.
For his visit to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, US President Joe Biden was accompanied by his wife Jill Biden. UK PM Rishi Sunak along with his wife Akshata Murty visited Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
The leaders of the G7 will gather for discussions in Hiroshima, a city that has recovered from the catastrophic damage by an atomic bomb and which continues to seek lasting world peace.
