One person has been arrested by Canada's Peel Regional Police in connection with the 'demonstrations' at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton on November 4, a Peel police official said.
Canadian President Justin Trudeau condemned the recent violence that took place at Brampton's Hindu Sabha Mandir on Sunday, stating that those who were responsible for the act were inciting division and unrest.
Notably, a violent group of men, carrying flags of pro-Khalistani groups had attacked a Hindu Sabha Mandir on Gore Road in Canada's Brampton on Sunday.
This comes after an Indian consular camp at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Canada's Brampton witnessed a "violent disruption". The incident occurred on Sunday (local time) outside a consular camp organised in collaboration with the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, near Toronto.
Ontario Sikhs and Gurdwara Council (OSGC) condemned the "violent disruption" by 'anti-India' elements outside a consular camp in Brampton and requested local authorities to thoroughly investigate the incident, reaffirming that violence has no place in the society.
