Former Australian batter Greg Chappell sees shades of India's legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar when he witnesses England's rising sensation Harry Brook dazzle with the bat on the crease.
Brook is one of the newest faces of world cricket, having made a name for himself with some impactful knocks across all formats. Tests are Brook's best format so far and he would be looking to make an impact in the Ashes series against Australia away from home later this year.
As per Wisden, Brook, who has 898 rating points, levelled with Sachin, who had a career-high rating of 898 points during the 2002 following a Test match against Zimbabwe
After a fine 42 in the first innings, Root once again showcased his class, composure and clutch game in a tense run chase of 205 runs, scoring an unbeaten 62 in 128 balls, with two fours, coming in when England was 56/2.
