Dr Subba Rao Pavuluri, President of SIA-India, celebrated Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla's Axiom-4 mission as a historic day for India, highlighting the nation's growing role in global space exploration during the India Space Congress 2025.
Speaking at the Global Space Exploration Conference (GLEX), 2025, PM Modi outlined key achievements, including successful missions to Mars and the Moon, the launch of over 400 satellites for 34 nations, and the upcoming Gaganyaan mission.
Dr Singh pointed to the National Space Innovation and Applications (NSIL) and In-SPACe, which have fostered collaboration between the government and non-government entities, driving India's space economy to USD 8 billion.
Dr Singh, hailed the Budget 2024-25 announcements related to the space sector as visionary, with the potential to revolutionize India's position in global space exploration and the private space industry.
