The month of May was a mixed bag of emotions for Kashmiris as the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting was wrapped up in Srinagar amid much fanfare and bringing back nostalgia for the good old days when the city was a global crowd-puller.
Delegates attending the G20 meeting scheduled in Uttarakhand's Narendranagar received a warm welcome upon their arrival at the Jollygrant Airport in Dehradun on Wednesday.
The foreign delegates attended the meetings and sessions organized in the last two days with a special focus on tourism and other developments between the G20 countries.
There is also a program for the visit of delegates from 20 countries to the city of Gulmarg and Dal Lake. A large part of it has already been cleaned and the cleaning work on the other part is going on in full swing.
