Flex engines are gaining a foothold in India, backed by the country's growing ethanol blending programme and other biofuel initiatives, Pramod Chaudhari, President of the Indian Federation of Green Energy, told ANI.

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], September 24 (ANI): Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday said that the manufacturers will be mandated to power vehicles with flex engines that can run on more than one fuel, in the upcoming three to four months.
