The US Consul General in Chennai, Chris Hodges, has organised a five-day workshop on Antiquities Trafficking Prevention in collaboration with the governments of India, Nepal, and Tamil Nadu following the signing of the Cultural Property Agreement.
The inaugural session was held at a city-based hotel in Guwahati. Participants from Economics and Statistics Bureau/ Directorate of nine States namely Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Meghalaya, Mizoram Nagaland, Odisha, Tripura and West Bengal, including Assam, participated in the workshop
