Delhi Police on Sunday detained a man in connection with the death of a 25-year-old man after his motorcycle fell into a deep, uncovered pit allegedly dug by the Delhi Jal Board during road work in West Delhi's Janakpuri area.
During the encounter, the suspect was shot in the leg and sustained injuries. He was subsequently taken into custody and provided medical treatment. A 315 bore pistol, two empty cartridges, and one live cartridge were recovered from the scene, according to officials.
