India first participated in the FIFAe Nations Series in 2021, and have done extremely well to qualify twice in three years for the tournament, widely known as the 'World Cup of FIFA esports'.
The Indian team comprising Charanjot Singh, Siddh Chandarana, and Saransh Jain etched their names in the history books by qualifying for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022.
This is the first time that India will play at the esports showpiece event, which is set to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark this year, from July 27 to July 30, 2022.
