According to a press release issued by Nagpur Rural Police, the arrested accused include company executives, production managers and operational supervisors responsible for handling explosive materials and ensuring safety compliance at the facility.
Just ahead of Republic Day, Nagaur police conducted a major operation under the Explosives Act, leading to the seizure of a large quantity of explosive material and the arrest of one accused.
During a house search conducted by Babugarh police station on Tuesday, they recovered approximately 200 kg of gun cotton powder, about 2,000 candles made from explosive materials, along with firecracker equipment. An arrest has been made following this, and legal procedure is underway.
"Based on a tip-off, 150 kilograms of ammonium nitrate and other explosive materials were seized on the Tonk National Highway. Following this, the IB team questioned the accused on Wednesday night, and the NIA team conducted questioning on Thursday morning," SP Meena said.
On November 10, a blast near Delhi's Red Fort killed 15 people and injured many others. The prime accused, Dr Umar Un Nabi, a Kashmiri resident, was in the wheel carrying the explosive material.
Speaking to ANI in Srinagar, the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister criticised the manner in which the explosive material was dealt with by local authorities, stressing that those with proper expertise should have been consulted beforehand.
The MHA attributed the highly unstable nature of the explosive material recovered during an ongoing terror module probe that was linked to the Delhi Red Fort blast that occurred on November 10, which killed 12 people.

Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate on Tuesday expressed serious concern over the recent security incidents, stating that explosive material was recovered in Faridabad on the same day the car blast took place near the Red Fort metro station.
