India is regularly responding to the case of ex-Indian Navy officers arrested in Qatar as the embassy is actively pursuing the issue, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday.
Eight former Indian Navy officers have been in solitary confinement in Doha, Qatar since August 30. A sister of one of the detainees, Meetu Bhargava sought help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring back her brother.
