As the polling day got underway in New Delhi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar cast his vote and expressed his confidence that the Delhi voters will once again support the Modi government and Viksit Bharat.
External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar on Friday stressed the growing role of Indian skills and talent at the global level and said that the developed countries of the world are now manifesting interest in concluding mobility agreements with India.
Terming the India-European Union Foreign Trade Agreement (FTA) the "most difficult FTA," External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar said on Monday that it is the most difficult one because there are a lot of non-trade issues involved in this FTA.
Referring to the conflict in the Middle East and the Israel-Palestine issue, External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar on Wednesday said that India supports a homeland for the Palestinians and is public about its stand.
"The image of India is of friendly but fair... If you look at a challenge like terrorism, the world recognises that today's India deals with terrorism very differently from how it used to," remarked Jaishankar at the Viksit Bharat 2047 programme held at Hansraj College in the national cap
The External Affairs Minister recently lamented Canada saying they were welcoming people from India with links to organised crime, ignoring warnings by New Delhi.
"Sometimes, dealing with our neighbours involves navigating a bit of politics. It's about balancing our interests with theirs," said EAM Jaishankar during a press interaction in Cuttack on Sunday.
EAM Jaishankar noted that he benefited greatly from Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's guidance and insights on regional developments during their interaction.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong exchanged views on deepening engagement in fintech, digitalization, the green economy, skills development and food security.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, currently on a three-nation visit, engaged in discussions with prominent corporate figures from Singapore who offered positive feedback on India's growth story derived from their investment experiences, upon his arrival in Singapore on Saturday.
