Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar has said that G20 Digital Economy Ministers reached a ground-breaking consensus under India’s Presidency on how to effectively shape digital public infrastructure (DPI) of the future.
He said it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision that technology should be available not only in cities but also reach to the people of far-flung areas.
Addressing the G20 Digital Economy Ministers’ Meeting, here Vaishnaw said that the three priority areas selected by the Indian presidency for the Digital Economy Working Group are - Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), Security in Digital Economy and Digital Scaling.
