The MahaKumbh 2025 has drawn diplomats from around the world, with many foreign diplomats expressing their excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to experience India's rich cultural heritage firsthand in the Maha Kumbh Mela.
The Lithuanian embassy has taken a proactive role in fostering this connection, organising a series of lectures by Sanskrit scholar Vytis Vidunas to unveil the intriguing similarities shared by the languages.

To further showcase this linguistic similarity Lithuanian Embassy in New Delhi has initiated a street art project in collaboration with Delhi Street Art, the Harcourt Butler school in Delhi and the winner of the Young Lithuanian Artist Talent Award, Linas Kaziulionis.
