The accused Head Constable was arrested on Monday on a complaint filed by a lawyer Om Prakash Sharma, who is also an ex-President of a Market Association in the Ashok Vihar area.
According to the official, the first encounter took place in Jaitpur, where police arrested Asif, who was accused of attacking Delhi Police Head Constable Karan Mavi on May 27.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended a Head Constable from the Gandhi Nagar police station, Delhi Police in Delhi, on charges of bribery. The accused was caught red-handed accepting a bribe amounting to Rs. 40,000 from a complainant.
As per the police, the incident happened after the accused, identified as Chayank Seelalan, was asked by the police to show the document of his motorcycle, which the accused refused.
