Six people were killed on Friday after a portion of the roof of a room at Dargah Sharif Patte Shah collapsed near Humayun's Tomb, the District Magistrate South-East Delhi said.
A multi-storey building collapsed in Delhi's Seelampur locality on Saturday morning, resulting in the deaths of six people and injuries to eight others, with several more feared trapped under the debris, said an official.
Out of the 11 people who were confirmed to be injured in the incident, six people have been discharged from hospitals while five others are still undergoing treatment.
It is alleged that Rashid fell into a pothole filled with water, which may have contributed to the accident. However, the police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage to establish the exact reasons surrounding the incident.
