The Delhi government announced ex-gratia Rs 1 crore payment to the families of each of the five corona warriors who died during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chief minister's office said on Saturday.

Delhi recorded 142 fresh coronavirus cases with a positivity rate of 5.43 per cent and one Covid-linked death on Friday, according to data shared by the city government's health department.
"A total of 677 patients have successfully recovered from Covid. A total of 4827 tests were conducted out of which 1751 were rapid antigen tests," the health bulletin mentioned.
Registering a hike in the number of positive cases, the national capital reported 733 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 19.93 per cent, according to a daily bulletin issued by the Delhi Health Department on Friday.
