Delhi experienced a change in weather with several parts of the city receiving strong winds and rainfall on Tuesday. The downpour caused waterlogging in several parts of the city, causing traffic snarls.
Heavy rainfall and gusty winds in Delhi have prompted major airlines, including IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Air India, to issue travel advisories warning passengers of potential disruptions to flight operations on Tuesday morning.
The Airlines further said the flight will stay overnight at Rome's Fiumicino Airport . "If asked, the flight will stay in FCO overnight to allow for required crew rest before continuing to DEL as soon as possible tomorrow," the Airlines statement read.
The advisory reads that all the Heads of Operations are hereby advised to sensitize their pilots and cabin crew members to strictly follow the Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) and prevent any unauthorized entry into the cockpit through appropriate means.
