: BSF director general Daljit Singh Chawdhary on Thursday announced that two Border Out Posts of the force will be named after Sub Inspector Md Imteyaz and Constable(GD) Deepak Chingakham who were killed in cross-border shelling by Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
BSF Constable Deepak Chingakham, 23, from Imphal East, Manipur, was killed in cross-border firing in Jammu and Kashmir's RS Pura sector on May 10. His family, while mourning his loss, expressed pride in his sacrifice for the nation. He had joined the BSF in 2021.
The Border Security Force organised the wreath-laying ceremony of BSF Constable Deepak Chingakham in Jammu, who lost his life due to cross-border firing from Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir's RS Pura sector on May 10.
Border Security Forces Constable Deepak Chingakham succumbed to injuries sustained in cross-border firing by the Pakistan Rangers in R S Pura, Jammu division, during the intervening night of May 9 and 10.
