Tamil Nadu's Crime Branch Criminal Investigation Department (CB-CID) have arrested five people, including two women, in connection with the attack on YouTuber Savukku Shankar's residence in Chennai, an official said.
YouTuber Savukku Shankar claims his house was ransacked after he exposed a scam involving vehicle distribution for Dalit entrepreneurs. He accuses TNCC President K. Selvaperunthagai of organizing the attack in retaliation for his exposure of the scheme.
He instructed the additional chief secretary (industries department), Secretary of Social Welfare Department and Chief Executive Officer of KIADB to submit a Land Audit report and the shortfall in the allotment of land must be addressed within the stipulated time.
