Following the demise of former Union Minister Dr Debendra Pradhan, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday said that it is the latter's contributions that the BJP has formed the government in the state.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday chaired a meeting at Lok Bhawan to discuss implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana (GJAY) schemes.
After offering prayers at the temple, while speaking to ANI, CM Majhi expressed his gratitude and said, "I had the fortune of visiting here today... By God's grace and the efforts of PM Modi, the progress of the nation is going upward."
Following the discussion, senior officials from the Nepal Embassy, Naveen Raj Adhikari and Sanjeev Sharma Das, met CM Majhi at Lok Seva Bhavan to further discuss the issue.
Taking to social media X, Mohan Charan Majhi wrote, "deeply saddened by the tragic loss of precious lives in the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured".
Speaking to ANI, CM Majhi said, "Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented a historic budget for 2025-26. The size of the budget has been increased, it will pave the way for a new direction for the development of the country."
