China has been increasing cyberattacks, military exercises and 'gray zone' tactics against Taiwan in a combined effort to pressure the nation and deplete its resources, the National Security Bureau (NSB) said today in a report to the Legislative Yuan, according to a report by Taipei Times.
According to the NSB report, Taiwan's government networks faced an average of 2.4 million cyberattacks per day in 2024. This represents a staggering increase of over 100 per cent compared to the 1.2 million daily average in 2023.
