Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted approval of recommencement of helicopter operations for the Chardham Yatra 2025 w.e.f. 15/16 September 2025, after the monsoon break, a press release from the Ministry of Civil Aviation said.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the commencement of the Chardham Yatra 2025, stating that the doors of Shri Yamunotri and Shri Gangotri Dham will open today on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
Uttarakhand Medical Health and Irrigation Secretary R Rajesh Kumar on Saturday conducted a comprehensive field inspection with the concerned officials regarding the preparations for the Chardham Yatra 2025 in Haridwar.
Meanwhile, in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir), the police have also issued directions to ensure the safety of Kashmiri students studying in Uttarakhand.
With the Chardham Yatra 2025 approaching, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of the Medical Health Department and Nodal Officer for Badrinath Dham, held a comprehensive review meeting with officials of the concerned departments at the Collectorate in Chamoli on Wednesday.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Secretary, Medical Health, Irrigation, and Badrinath Nodal Officer for Chardham Yatra, Dr R Rajesh Kumar conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of Chamoli district on Tuesday.
