After the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in connection with an alleged corruption case, his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari and his son Nara Lokesh reached SIT office in Tadepalle to meet Naidu on Saturday evening.
Condemning the arrest of Telegu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu in connection with an alleged corruption case, Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan on Saturday said incidents were "unfortunate in a democracy".
The agency further said that the government order was issued under Naidu's instructions, intending to cause wrongful loss to the public exchequer and gain to private individuals.
In a post on his social media account on X, the TDP supremo said that no one can stop him from serving the people of the state—the thing he has been doing for the ‘past 45 years’.
Further, coming down heavily on Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and CM of the state, Kommareddy Pattabhiram called Jagan Mohan Reddy the most “corrupt politician” in the entire country.
Talking to mediapersons ahead of police taking him into custody, Naidu said, I did not commit any malpractice or corruption. CID arrested me without any proper information and I asked them to show the evidence but they refused to show and attached my name to the FIR without my role.&rdquo
