Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra urged the government and the administration to take immediate action on the matter, where he also pointed to an earlier similar accident in Ajmer, where 16 people were killed after a chemical tanker overturned.
The right engine of a passenger aircraft of Turkish Airlines on Wednesday afternoon caught on fire promoting emergency at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, airport officials confirm.
At least 10 passengers sustained minor injuries after a private bus travelling from Hosanagar to Bengaluru with 36 passengers onboard caught fire on Thursday.
According to the police, smoke was first noticed coming out of the vehicle, after which it caught fire. Rahul Sharma Gyanchand, a resident of Hastinapur village in Meerut district, was driving the car. He managed to get out of the vehicle safely before the fire spread further.
A tragic accident occurred near Gorlathu village, located in the Hiriyur taluk of Chitradurga district, on National Highway 48. A private bus, travelling from Bengaluru to Shivamogga, was involved in a collision with a lorry. The impact caused the bus, a sleeper coach, to catch fire.
According to the fire official, "A fire broke out from a parked electric car this afternoon and spread to a nearby Swift car. Three fire vehicles from Musheerabad, Gandhi Hospital and Robotic arrived at the scene and controlled the blaze."
A bus operated by AISATS, a ground handling service provider for Air India, caught fire at Delhi Airport's Terminal 3 on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Central Industrial Security Force.
The Deputy CM said a fire broke out on a bus from another state after a cylinder blast. He stated that the bus was carrying two LPG cylinders, which caused the blast when it was crossing under a high-tension wire.
